If your desire is to enjoy a deeply immersive tour in Italy’s food and wine culture, you have found the tour you are looking for. We plan to depart from Milan (either hotel or airport) and from here we will reach the first stop: Novara. You will take an educational tour where you will learn how rice is produced and processed as well as historical techniques that date back decades. After the historical part you will go to the production and finally to the restaurant to taste a series of risottos cooked in different styles.
The next stop will be La Morra, in the Barolo area. Here you will have the opportunity to stay in a luxury bnb or, optionally, in a typical hotel in the area. We will take you to visit three Barolo wine cellars and taste their wines, we will let you live the experience of truffle hunting followed by a truffle lunch and we will let you learn and taste the local grappa (optional). the third step will take you towards Parma and the area along the Po river.
Here you will learn about the history of this land, tormented by the Second World War, which was reborn thanks to the passion of the locals. You will learn to appreciate Parmigiano Reggiano and see the secrets of its production, you will taste a refined balsamic vinegar from Modena and above all you will learn about Culatello di Zibello.
